Jury Rejects Miami Mayor�s Legal Malpractice Claim
Mitrani, Rynor, Adamsky & Macaulay, P.A., won a defense verdict in
a claim brought by Miami�s Mayor Joe Carollo, who argued he was the victim of
legal malpractice. The jury also found for the firm�s client on its
counterclaim for unpaid fees.

Jailed Florida Businessman in Ecuador Finally Freed
Mitrani, Rynor, Adamsky & Macaulay, P.A., represented James
Williams, a Florida businessman arrested and imprisoned in Ecuador. Ultimately,
when Representative Sonny Callihan (Republican, Alabama), threatened to suspend
almost $20 million in aid to Ecuador, Ecuador released Mr. Williams.

Jury Awards police officer $1.1 million for false arrest.
Loren Cohen won a verdict of $1.1 million in a Federal Civil Rights claim on
behalf of a former police officer, against the City of Hollywood. The jury
determined that the plaintiff was falsely arrested and falsely charged with
sexual battery by City of Hollywood Police Officers, in violation of his
constitutional rights.
